It’s always scary taking your car in for repairs. Nobody wants to be taken advantage of and charged for unnecessary repairs or overcharged. I always have a great experience with Tinley Park Auto. They are very transparent, professional and knowledgeable!! And super friendly!! They always send a text after they inspect our Family’s cars. It’s color coded. Example; if it’s under yellow tab, it means warning that these things should be kept an eye on due to the age of the car or the wear and tear on it. Under the red tab, showing what needs immediate attention. They always explain very thoroughly what needs to be fixed and why, and they will even show it to me if I ask. They are very fair! My husband knows a lot about cars and usually has a good idea of what is wrong with the car and about how much it should cost us and they are always right on. I really trust them and since I found them I’ve never felt the need to go elsewhere. They are also highly rated in their field. As a consumer I highly recommend them!

I’ve always been told that no matter where you live, find a local mechanic, so I went to the dealer when I first moved here, and then to quick oil change shop while I searched, until I found Tinley Aut Repair. The team at Tinley Auto Repair has been professional, communicative, and considerate in caring for my 25-year old car. Getting the digital assessment of the proposed repairs and priorities of the work that needs to be done now versus later allows me to make an informed decision about scheduling my expenses and time. Jim explains in detail what the issues are and usually has the smooth jazz station playing as I’m able to work while I wait for service! I find the costs to be reasonable, but the value of the customer service is priceless!

Brought our car in for an oil change and it turned out to need a lot more work. Its gonna be 10 years old and only has 31k miles on it so were willing to put the money into it. Got a detailed description of the work that needed to be done and what it would cost. The folks at Tinley Auto are great! They explained that although the car needed some major work it wasnt an emergency but those things had to be fixed. We had both of our cars serviced there now for a couple of years and they always do great work!
