Although my owner's manual specified use of HYDRAULIC power steering fluid, Tinley Auto Repair corrected this error. Use of ELECTRIC steering pump fluid, since the car did not have an hydraulic system, was the proper way to go. Topping off the reservoir with the wrong fluid could have lead to a malfunction of the pump that would result in a replacement cost of over $1000 for the parts alone. Good catch on the part of TAR. Thanks.
